studded pyramid bracelet + bangles

I accompanied my brother in Carriedo to get his NBI clearance. Before heading home i made a quick stop in one of the bead/accessories stores. Some of you may not know it, aside from being a pirate dvds haven, Carriedo (Quiapo area) is also where you can find beads and materials for making accessories. Some are already made but if you would like to create something yourself then this is the place for you. Most of the stores have a minimum of 6 pieces of purchase policy but its no big deal since the items are really affordable and trust me, i don't think you'll just want to buy one piece of accessory. =P

I got a pyramid studded bracelet for only 12.00PHP! Before i found something like these on multiply, one of those korean preoder sites and i think it costs around 200PHP!
I've also included some pictures for inspiration on how you can wear this bracelet.
Here are few celebrities seen wearing it:

Miley Cyrus

Rachel Bilson

Um, and aside from that i also got a bunch of bangles in silver and royal blue. A total of 5 bangles for the price of 25.00PHP!

new on my Looklet

I've been trying to create a sort of oriental inspired look with these pants but i can't seem to find the right combination and so instead i made this look. Will try working on the oriental look once more.

I was looking around and found an oversized sweater that can pass as an overall. Then tried to mix it up with some accessories. If you're using looklet try as much as possible to use some of the items users rarely use, its more challenging! =)

If you would like to use some of the looks i've done, please let me know. Thanks

Philippine Fashion Week Volunteer Program

SM Parisian shoes is LOVE!

A few weeks ago, i saw an awesome pair of sky high heels in Aldo. Its a pair of strappy sandals in rust color with heels up to 5 inches! (mataas sya pero i'll live! =P). I grabbed it from the display rack and put them on. And oh my! It goes well with my outfit, a grey blazer with a plain white t shirt under it and a pair of slightly torn denim shorts. Then i flipped it over, that's when i began to frown, as far as i can remember the price tag says something around 8,000+ pesos. Yay!

I wasnt able to find a picture of it online but here are a few shoes similar to the one i saw.

Steve Madden Alicce on sale at $87.00 (zappos.com)

Jessica Simpson Striker on sale at $79.16 (zappos.com)

Then last Monday i went over to SM Mall of Asia to get a haircut, i promised to only get a haircut but i couldn't resist to have a little bit of window shopping. And here's what i found...

SM Parisian Lydia shoes for only 999.75PHP = $21.09!

details

Trust me, some of SM Parisian shoes' designs are not bad, you'll be surprise to see some nice pairs like the one i got and its less than 1,000PHP! Imagine ordering from GoJane.com without having to wait for 3 weeks before it gets here!

my first blog post! huray!

I know that it is very untimely to create a blog while so many Filipinos are struggling because of typhoon Ondoy. But it is also because of these circumstances (bored at home, can't go outside) that I finally got the urge to create this blog that i have been wanting to make for quite some time now.

I love fashion! and yes fashion comes along with the love for shopping.

I wasn't one of those people who were born with such sky high trust fund and so after picking up a nice dress hanging on the rack i go straight to the price tag! For me, one of the best feeling in the world is finding a rare to-die-for piece of clothing in a thrift store a.k.a. ukay-ukay! Especially if its under 50 pesos! haha

I really wanted to create a blog where I can share my finds and ideas on fashion (and other stuff) without hurting your wallet, or for some hurting your parents' wallet. Because it really doesn't matter how much is the worth of the clothes that you are wearing, the brand, the designer, where you got it, its about learning how to put things together and knowing what works for you.
